This is a reprint of the "Sazae-san Karuta," which was sold around 1949, with whole the picture cards and character cards written by Machiko Hasegawa. The text on the character cards, which depict the customs of the time, and the charm of the colorful picture cards still haven't faded.
The A1-size extra-large poster with each the reading cards is a sight to behold. The back side contains episodes about the reprint and trivia related to Sazae-san.
