In 1969, he was awarded a scholarship by the Salzburg Summer Academy where he studied painting with Emilio Vedova.From this period onwards, Mevlana and his doctrines became a part of his art. He produced works in many mediums such as painting, collage, pattern and sculpture. The “insects” İnan began drawing in this period became the artist's trademark. His works are in private and public collections in Turkey and around the world.
